The people below are all passionate, hardworking individuals striving to see meaningful change in Minnesota food, agricultural, and environmental systems.
Matt moved to Minneosta after spending the first part of his childhood in a small town in northern Iowa. He loves the upper Midwest and believe we have everything we need here to be happy, inspired and sustained.
Matt lives to bring people together and cultivate spaces where people recognize the value in themselves and the strength in collaboration and people power

Janae is a community activist and works in the fields of social justice and advocacy. She has a passion for gardening, cooking, herbalism, deepening the connection to organic agriculture and believe that healthy food is a human right.
Her favorite thing about Farm Buds is the human connections made while working with the Earth and the deep impact everyone can have on environmental and social ecosystems.

Sean is a public speaker and works in community engagement in the non-profit sector. He is looking to start a farmstead in rural Minnesota with food, agritourism, and Farm Buds training.

Chrissy grew up with a background in environmental sciences, global studies, and outdoor education.
She has worked in food, labor, and social justice movements parallel to the hospitality industry for over a decade. Farm Buds is where the rubber meets the road (or paddle meets the water) for community building, food, environmentalism, and education
Chrissy
Willie has studied and worked previously in the gardening and environmental fields. While his current job is more indoor focused and in a different field, He looks to opportunities to keep learning, stay connected and dig in the dirt.
Farm Buds is a great way to meet people, connect to the farms, land and caretakers while staying active in mind body and spirit.
