Who We Are
Created to Connect ~ We Are Stronger TogetherFarm Buds was created from the belief that meaningful change is difficult to make alone. In a world where many people feel increasingly disconnected — from their food, from the land, and from one another — Farm Buds exists to help rebuild those relationships through shared experiences that are joyful, impactful, and accessible.
At its heart, Farm Buds strengthens local food systems by bringing people directly to the source. Through hands-on farm trips, volunteer experiences, and community events, participants have the opportunity to connect with local farmers, learn where their food comes from, and become active participants in the health of their communities.
These experiences are designed to go beyond education alone. They create spaces for people to gather, work together, share meals, learn new skills, and rediscover what it means to feel connected — both to the earth and to each other.
A Glance At What We Do!
Our Goals for Each Farm Trip
-
Creating experiences that feel energizing, welcoming, and inspiring. From farm visits to seasonal gatherings, joy is seen as an essential part of meaningful community change.
-
Supporting local farmers and regional food systems through direct engagement, volunteering, education, and community-driven action.
-
Making local food and farm experiences approachable for people of all backgrounds, experience levels, and stages of life.
Farm Buds believes that stronger communities begin with stronger connections — to the land that feeds us, the people who grow our food, and the communities we build together along the way. No matter what an individual’s background is, finding connection to these three things is made made accessible by Farm Buds.
